Temporary closure of Austin Park grass area

The City of Clearlake will temporarily close all grass areas of Austin Park beginning today, Wednesday,  March 3. The original hydroseeding performed last spring failed to properly take hold due to  problems with the new irrigation system. Therefore, in an effort to provide the grass in the park we all want to see, another hydroseeding operation will begin on March 8, 2021. Read more. 


Improvements made on the Keuka Outlet Trail

After new topsoil and hydroseeding was completed this fall, the area where the Kelly Tire Building, and old concrete structures from the industrial era were removed is becoming a lovely green space.
