Contract OK’d to start Eastgate Park
An large contract was approved by the Ceres City Council on Monday to begin hydroseeding at Eastgate Park. Construction is expected to start this summer on both parks with the balance of the work will be completed over time as funding becomes available.

Helicopter hydroseeding, to re-seed the areas of land scorched by the fires will be used.
The method involves using a mulch and “tackifier” which could be added to water or used dry and distributed from a bucket slung under a helicopter.
